Mobility

ERASMUS is the most successful student exchange program in the world. Each year, more than 230,000 students are studying abroad thanks to the Erasmus program. The program offers an opportunity for student practice in companies, teaching and training of university staff and finances projects of cooperation between Higher education institutions throughout Europe.

The University of Rijeka joined this program in 2009 and since then more than 160 Erasmus bilateral agreements have been signed with universities from most EU countries. This cooperation involves the exchange of students and staff. In the four academic years more than 250 students and 50 employees of the University of Rijeka participated in the Erasmus programme. Students from European universities which signed a bilateral agreement with the University of Rijeka can spend one or two semesters of studies at our University.
