About the Office for Projects and International Cooperation


The Office for Projects and International Cooperation is an integral part of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Rijeka and as an organizational unit it coordinates and supervises activities, especially in the area of Project management, International cooperation and Staff and Student Mobility.
 
The main tasks of the Office is to provide administrative and technical support to users in processes of planning, applying, reporting and implementation of scientific research projects and other related activities. The Office is also a reference point for cooperation with other national and international universities, institutions and other subjects and it links all possible participants through the processes.

The Office also monitors relevant information about the possibilities and availability of different sources of funding for scientific research and similar projects and activities at several different levels, while the available information are forwarded to the end users and stakeholders.

Among the other tasks the Office is monitoring the student and staff mobility within the ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS programme, both incoming and outgoing.

Different activities are carried out such as preparatory activities for student admissions (preparation of mobility documentation, Info days, reception and assistance to incoming/outgoing students and staff).
 
The Office also assists in Fullbright scholarships and Newfelpro mobility.
 
The Office prepares and organizes conferences, expert meetings, workshops, presentations and educational events, and serves as Faculty's PR for international cooperation.
